Online lecture for students with mental illnesses.

Upset and tired boy teenager sitting on the floor keeps hand to cheek looking thoughtfully and hopeless. Stressed student guy feels emotional discomfort, anxiety and mental health problems.

On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Studentenwerk SH in cooperation with Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU) will again offer an online lecture for CAU students with mental illness.

Ramona López, social counselor at the Studentenwerk SH, and Dagny Streicher, representative for students with disabilities/chronic illnesses at CAU, will inform interested parties about, among other things, the possibilities of compensating for disadvantages in studies and examinations, the organization of studies, questions about financing studies, and supportive counseling services. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to ask their individual questions in the chat.

The event takes place via the Zoom video conferencing platform. Students can register by providing their name and email address to Dagny Streicher: barrierefrei-studieren@uv.uni-kiel.de. Important: The data is only required for registration. During the online lecture itself, participants are welcome to use a pseudonym and may leave the camera turned off.
