Famous photographer Carrie Ann meets successful trend analyst Jeff at the vernissage of her latest photo series. He approaches her and the two are immediately attracted to each other. However, it soon becomes clear that they both have their own dilemmas to deal with: Carrie Ann has been unable to shoot photographs since the death of her father and Jeff has only just received a disturbing medical note shortly before meeting Carrie Ann.
Both are in search of themselves, realising their own finitude. As Jeff and Carrie Ann get to know each other better, they have to confront the other complex social connections in their lives.
In the process, the two find themselves confronting challenging questions: What is the essence of life? What if everything is turned upside down? In short: What do we live and die for?
The student theatre group "Die Cocktailhühner" presents "Still Life", an existentialist play by Alexander Dinelaris, in which the various roles all search for an answer to these questions in their own way.
