Communication and marketing
Our colleagues in the Communication and Marketing department are the creative heart of the Student Union. This is where campaigns are designed, organised and implemented for specific target groups. Whether posters, flyers or annual reports - all printed materials originate here. They are designed by the employees, commissioned and distributed throughout Schleswig-Holstein. The team manages the social media channels, takes photos, produces videos and writes texts. A particular focus is on marketing for university catering. A marketing manager is responsible for designing attractive offers, developing advertising measures and implementing them.
Press work is also an important task of the employees. The department is the contact point for press representatives, provides them with information, organises interviews and filming appointments. At events, they look after reporters and photographers and ensure that everyone receives their sound bites and photos.
The colleagues are also responsible for internal communication. They use an intranet to provide employees with the latest news and all the information they need to plan their day-to-day work. Advertising materials, photos and videos are also produced for internal purposes. In addition, the department works together with colleagues from the HR department. Retention - Development - Organisation to take care of employer marketing.
The team consists of a department head and PR officers. The department also trains marketing communication specialists and employs a working student.
