University catering welcomes students with culinary promotions

On the occasion of the start of the semester at the universities, the Studentenwerk SH surprises its guests with numerous special offers in the refectories and cafeterias.

To celebrate the return to campus in a fitting manner, the university catering team is inviting students nationwide to the "Your Favorites" welcome campaign from 17 to 21 October. The most popular dining hall dishes are on the menu, including chicken cordon bleu, lahmacun and African vegetable stew. In the cafeterias, student favourites such as börek sticks, croissants and XXL muffins will be offered at a reduced price.

At the Kiel location, guests can look forward to other special semester start deals and competitions during the welcome week. During the wheel of fortune spin on 17 October in Mensa II, on 18 October in Mensa I and on 19 October in the Schwentine Mensa, among other things, coffee vouchers will be raffled off. In addition, free rice pudding tasting portions will be distributed in the cafeteria of Mensa I on Wednesday, 19 October. During a dice campaign on Friday, 21.10., also in the cafeteria of Mensa I, the first 100 people with a triple will get the cheapest product for free.

In the week from 24 to 28 October, the cafeterias of the Studentenwerk in Kiel, Lübeck, Flensburg, Heide and Wedel will be serving Bavarian food. Lye pretzels filled with butter, Lye plait au gratin or Leberkäse in a roll - every day, various Bavarian specialities will tempt you at a special price.
