Studentenwerk SH offers new relaxation workshop

In November 2022, the Studentenwerk SH invites students from all universities in Schleswig-Holstein to a new online workshop on the best relaxation techniques.

"Many students suffer from a lot of stress, which is reflected in our consultations," explains Lucia Domke, a psychologist at Studentenwerk Schleswig-Holstein. "The timetable is full, one exam follows the next and young people also have to earn money on the side to be able to afford their studies. There is little time for relaxation here."

To relieve stress and take time for themselves, interested students can now register for the Studentenwerk's new ongoing relaxation workshop. On four dates in November - 2, 9, 16 and 23 November from 4.45 to 6 p.m. each day - Lucia Domke will teach established relaxation methods and present short, effective skills that can help the body and mind to be more calm. The workshop takes place online via Webex.

In addition to the input from the psychologist, students are invited to try out the relaxation techniques in the group, contribute their own experiences and exchange ideas with the other participants. Those who prefer to remain anonymous can also participate without a video image. Please register by 26 October 2022 by email to lucia.domke@studentenwerk.sh. The group is limited to a maximum of ten people. It is planned to offer the new workshop in the coming semesters as well.
