Student Union celebrates Semester Opening Party in the Schwentine Mensa

On April 1, 2022, the popular party series for students goes into the next round. This time, the doors of the Schwentine Mensa on the campus of Kiel University of Applied Sciences will open.

Within a very short time, the tickets for the first big Semester Opening Party in the Kiel Mensa I in November last year were sold out. Now, with the active support of Kiel University of Applied Sciences and the AStA of Kiel University of Applied Sciences, the Studentenwerk SH is celebrating a special premiere on the Ostufer: a first-ever Semester Opening FH in the Schwentine Mensa.

"Due to its location directly on the water and the charm of the old shipbuilding hall, the Schwentine Mensa is a very special party location," says Johannes Heil, event manager at Studentenwerk SH. "Especially in these times full of uncertainty, it is important for us to set a small sign with the students for peaceful coexistence and student joie de vivre on campus."

The party will be held under current Corona rules. The number of guests is limited to approximately 500 people. Tickets are available from Wednesday, March 23, in advance at Hugendubel in Holtenauer Straße 116 (10 euros) or at the AStA of Kiel UAS (8 euros). The remaining tickets are available for 12 euros at the box office.
