IT COULDN'T BE MORE RELAXED
To submit your BAföG application, you should use the online tool "BAföG-Digital". This is an offer from the federal government.
Simple questions guide you step by step through the application in "BAföG Digital". You can easily upload any necessary documents at any time via the integrated upload portal. You also have the option of interrupting the application at any time and then resuming it at a later date; the data is then securely stored in a personal account.
Your application can be sent electronically - without the hassle of printing, postage costs and the question of whether the application will actually arrive.
You can register at bafoeg-digital.de.
Here you can choose the "BundID" registration option recommended by BAföG Digital. In this case, you will be automatically redirected to the corresponding service where you can authenticate yourself online. As soon as the authentication process is complete, you will be taken back to BAföG Digital.
Of course, you can also create your own account by selecting the "BAföG Account" option. Here you register with a user name and a personal password.
EVEN BETTER
With the supplementary BAföG digital app, you can easily submit documents for your existing BAföG application from anywhere using your mobile phone or tablet.
You will also be notified of the processing status of your application via push notification.
The app also includes a BAföG calculator with which you can determine your entitlement and need for educational support yourself.
